Open Garden at Hollin House

The garden of Hollin House (the home of Bishop Nick and Linda Baines) will be open to visit on the afternoon of Saturday 10 June in aid of St Gemma’s Hospice, for which Bishop Nick is patron.

It’s a garden for all the family with woodland walks across a pretty mill race, colourful perennial beds, a Victorian rockery, herb garden, tree house and play area.

There are also plenty of places to sit and contemplate the beauty of this particular spot of Leeds which was once the home of Captain Oates of Antarctica.

The event is part of  St Gemma’s Open Garden season which runs through June – more here.

A donation for St Gemma’s is requested on entry and there’ll be hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits available to buy.
