Our cathedrals to mark VJ Day on Saturday

Wakefield CathedralServices marking the seventy-fifth anniversary of Victory in Japan Day will be coming from two of our cathedrals this weekend. Bradford Cathedral
Bradford Cathedral will have a virtual service at 12noon on Saturday August 15 on their Facebook and YouTube channels.
It will include readings from the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Doreen Lee; the Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Ed Anderson; the Bishop of Leeds the Rt Revd Nick Baines; and the Burma Star Association, as well as music from the Bradford Cathedral choir.
Wakefield Cathedral will be streaming their special Service of Commemoration on Saturday at 2pm.
Their service will also include readings given by the Lord-Lieutenant, as well as from the Mayor for Wakefield, Councillor Charles Keith. 
The address will be given by Bishop Nick, and the service will feature music by the Wakefield Cathedral Choir.
