Easter in Dewsbury
The Bishop of Huddersfield will be in Dewsbury for the open air walk of witness through the town centre this Good Friday .
The Rt Revd Jonathan Gibbs will then join members of the churches of the Dewsbury Team Parish and other churches in the ecumenical initiative when students of St John Fisher Catholic School will re-enact the crucifixion in the town centre.
Bishop Jonathan, who had his first welcome service in Dewsbury Minster last November and joined the Mayor of Kirklees and the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire to plant two trees on Longcauseway to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, said he was looking forward to marking this important season of the Christian calendar alongside the people of Dewsbury and Kirklees.
Bishop Jonathan will wait the last hour at the cross at Dewsbury Minster from 2-3pm and will be back on Easter Sunday to give a reflection at the Team Parish Easter Praise Service in the Minster at 6.30pm.
Easter in Wakefield 
The Bishop of Wakefield, the Rt Revd Tony Robinson will join the Walk of Witness through the city’s streets to Wakefield Cathedral this Good Friday and will join Athersley in Barnsley for Easter vigil ceremonies .
The Walk, organized by Churches Together in Wakefield will set off from the New Life Church.It is a Wakefield tradition that every Good Friday, churches of different denominations (linked through the Churches Together movement come together for a Walk of Witness through the city centre. The walk takes place in silence, with stops at various points around the city centre for prayer, readings from the Gospel and singing. The walk usually ends with a brief open-air service & act of witness on the Cathedral steps and is attended by hundreds of Christians and usually picks up passers by and shoppers along its way.
Good Friday in Bradford
The Bishop of Bradford, Toby Howarth will join a three hour act of witness with the Bradford Moor Cluster of churches which will move cover four churches over a distance of three miles. At 11.40pm there is an act of witness at St James Woodhall before the procession of the cross walks along the Leeds Road to St Margaret's Thornbury an hour later. Following the Act of Witness there, the procession continues to St Clement's Bradford for a third meditation before continuing on the final leg of the procession to St Augustine's Bradford.
Bishop of Leeds
Bishop Nick will be leading and preaching at Bradford Cathedral on Easter Sunday (10.15am), and taking a confirmation at St Aidan's Roundhay Road, Leeds on Easter Saturday (7pm).
