Young people across the diocese and beyond will benefit from a palace to palace sponsored trek and cycle in aid of the Archbishop of York Youth Trust.
On Monday 9 September 2019, ten York business leaders will begin a six-day journey from Bishopthorpe Palace to Lambeth Palace, London, to fundraise for the Archbishop of York Youth Trust.
The team is taking on this gruelling 255-mile challenge, including a 70-mile bike ride on one day alone, to raise awareness and funds for the Archbishop of York Youth Trust.
The Youth Trust is passionate about developing opportunities for young people to grow in leadership, faith and character, in partnership with schools, churches and communities.
Through the Young Leaders Award, the Youth Trust have empowered over 90,000 young people from over 700 schools – including pupils in Leeds - to learn and practice key leadership and character skills, to make a difference in the lives of the people around them.
The group hopes to raise over £10,000 for the Youth Trust’s workin encouraging young leaders to ‘be the change they want to see’ in their communities.
