People of faith from across diocese share responses to pandemic

How people of faith are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic is the subject of a new blog from the Diocese of Leeds.
'Keeping Faith’ invites people of different faiths from across our diocese to share how their faith is keeping them going during these difficult times.
Some of the entries are personal reflections, while others are examples of how people from different faith traditions have helped out in practical ways.
Revd Jenny Ramsden, Interfaith Advisor, set up the blog, and said: “Now more than ever it seems significant to stand together with our neighbours of different faiths, as we face the same issues of finding new ways to worship when our places of worship are closed; celebrating festivals without congregational or family gatherings during lockdown; and, tragically, experiencing grief and bereavement whilst being socially isolated.
“Sharing the ways in which our faith has helped us during these uncertain and worrying times is a way of coming together in empathy and solidarity.”
The blog currently has reflections and thoughts from Rudi Leavor, Chair of Bradford Reform Synagogue, Abda Khan, Bradford born author and lawyer and Nuzhat Ali, from the Muslim Women's Council, with entries to come from members of the Sikh and Hindu communities in our diocese.
