There will be a Citywide Prayer Lunch for Leeds at St George's Church during the week of Prayer for Christian Unity (21 January, 12-1.30pm)
Every two months a Citywide Prayer lunch is held which enables Christians to come together to pray for the city of Leeds. Each lunch has a different theme - in December Ed Carlisle spoke about refugees, peace and reconciliation which was then the topic of prayer.
The week of prayer for Christian unity is celebrated between 18-25 January, between the feasts of St Peter and St Paul, and is a time when Churches join to pray and worship together, swap preachers and think about how the Church can be more united.
Everyone is welcome to come and have something to eat and then join together in praying for Leeds.
If you would like to attend please email prayforleeds@gmail.com or call Dave Paterson on 07903 123283.
