Skilled volunteer wanted to help shape a new diocesan property strategy

The search is on for someone with the skills to chair a new committee tasked with shaping a future property strategy for the diocese.

Following a Diocesan Governance Review, the committee will manage and develop our residential buildings and land portfolio from Richmond to Barnsley, Halifax to Harrogate and beyond.

It will have a critical role ensuring that all stakeholders’ interests are fairly considered in the formation of a Diocesan Property Strategy and will be supported in its work by the diocesan Property Team.

“We’re looking for a Property Committee Chair to bring the Committee together, prioritise matters and develop an effective way of working,” said Diocesan Secretary Jonathan Wood.

“We are particularly interested in those with a proven track record of working in the property sector and having an understanding of the skills and experience associated with managing a property portfolio.”
