Thanks from Archdeacon Bev

Archdeacon Bev has contacted the diocese to thank people for "a shared ministry of proclamation of the Gospel and in the service of Christ; for the vast number of cards, letters, messages of support and encouragement and for the prayers as she now turns her face to a new role and new challenges."

"Thanks, too," she continues, "for the wonderful service of farewell at Ripon Cathedral and for the very generous gifts and tokens of friendship and love.  It has been both overwhelming  and profoundly humbling.

"You shall ever remain in my prayers and love."

Her consecration will take place at York Minster by Archbishop John Sentamu on Thursday 18th October at 11am. This is a public service and all are very warmly welcome. Tickets are not required.
