The Grade 1 listed church of All Saints Kirby Hill, just north of Boroughbridge, was replaced by the Fox and Hounds pub in nearby Langthorpe as the venue for worship last Sunday.
As part of the local congregation’s mission to the local community, All Saint's Sunday service took place in the local public house.
Thirty one adults and five children took part in ‘All Saints@the pub’ .
“It was a lovely informal service for epiphany, entirely lay led and much appreciated by all who attended,” said congregation member, Ric Welsby.
