More than 100 volunteers hauled the giant Easter cross into place over Otley Chevin this weekend.The cross, which stands at 30ft tall, has become a familiar landmark at Surprise View during the Easter period since 1968.
The current cross is made from timber salvaged from the bombed Arndale Centre in Manchester.
