People of all faiths and none joined together on Saturday for a walk of faith through the city of Wakefield - in the sunshine.
The faith trail was led by the Mayor of Wakefield, Cllr Harry Ellis and organised by the Wakefield Interfaith Group for people to come together in friendship and visit and learn about different places of worship and different faith practices.
They met at at 10.30 am at the Central Jamia Masjid in South Street near Kirkgate Railway station before the Mayor led people to Trinity Methodist Church on Norton Road for light refreshments. This was followed by a visit to Wakefield Cathedral for a short Witness for Peace on the steps followed by a shared lunch in the secret garden at the Quaker Meeting House in Thornhill Street.
