Ann Hemsworth recently retired as the Warden of Readers for the historic Diocese of Ripon & Leeds after 12 years as the Warden and 18 years as Chair of the Reader Council.
Ann has been a Reader for over 25 years, and all of that time has been a member of the Council. She has been retired from the Law Firm for which she worked for almost 20 years and during that time has been involved in various aspects of church work, including parochial work, Leading Your Church into Growth, The College of Evangelism and anything else she has been asked to do within her gifts and expertise.
She says, "I look forward to more time to enjoy needlework and music, but I'm not unrealistic, so I expect very soon the phone will ring with a 'now you have retired' request!"
