Boris, Jeremy and political hot potatoes on air at Keighley Shared Church

BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions Programme is coming to Keighley Shared Church as the battle to be Britain's new Prime Minister reaches its climax.

On Friday, July 12, the long-running political debate show will be broadcast live from the church with the hustings nearly over.

The Conservative Party's new leader will be announced on Monday, July 22.

Whether Boris Johnson or Jeremy Hunt will be on stage in the Bradford Episcopal Area remains to be seen.

Panel members are still to be announced, but in this current political climate it’s set to be a fascinating evening of debate, controversy and entertainment, said Canon Mike Cansdale, Team Rector (pictured right): "The programme hasn’t been to Keighley before, but Keighley Shared Church is a great venue for all sorts of events.

"We look forward to hosting the evening and welcoming in the community."

The event is free to all and tickets can be booked via this Eventbrite link:   https://www.eventbrite.com/e/any-questions-tickets-63581927256
