Online Faculty System Training and Chancellor's Directions

The DAC are not offering any specific training sessions on the Online Faculty System and Chancellor's Directions at the moment. However, we will be taking part in the Archdeacon's Churchwarden's training events during 2018. Please contact your Archdeacon's office if you wish to book a place on those training events.

Growing the rural church – 31 October, Coventry

Bookings are open for Buildings Conversations: Churches for Rural Communities Conference on 31 October 2018 at The Welcome Centre, Coventry.


The day conference will explore how rural churches can use their buildings creatively to support their mission and better serve their communities.  While GtRC is a Church of England project church leaders (lay and ordained) and professionals from all denominations are welcome.


Speakers include the  Rt Revd Dr Helen-Ann Hartley (Bishop of Ripon and previous Bishop of Waikato, New Zealand) and Revd Clare Maxim (CEO of Germinate, an ecumenical charity working with rural churches across the UK). There will also be presentations on GtRC’s experience and learning so far, and from the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich with an early look at the DDCMS and Historic England Taylor Review Pilot.

Please note, this is not a course run by the Leeds DAC but a national course which may of interest to churches in the Leeds Diocese.
