Lizzie Reynolds is excited to be serving in the parish of St Wilfrid, Calverley in the Leeds diocese. She has loved training part-time at St Hild College where she is reading for an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission. She took the opportunity during training to experience two very different full time contextual placements, one with Ripon Cathedral and the other at St John the Evangelist, Bierley, Bradford, as well as helping out with Street Angels. Prior to training Lizzie was a chartered law librarian, working in commercial law firms, before retraining as a florist, eventually running a wedding flowers business. She is married to James and they have two children, Isobel (19) and Ursula (16). In her spare time Lizzie enjoys walking and socialising with family and friends – and if that involves either cake or the odd G&T, well so much the better! Lizzie is keen to build on the links a church has to the community it serves, and loves to find inventive ways to surprise and delight folk who might not have expected to feel welcomed or included.
