Vicar - Benefice of Hampsthwaite with Felliscliffe, Killinghall and Birstwith

The Joint Benefice of Hampsthwaite with Felliscliffe & Killinghall and Birstwith comprises two parishes with three churches and a Chapel of Ease located in beautiful Nidderdale in North Yorkshire, close to Harrogate. Our mission statement is Join a welcoming family worshipping God together, joyfully serving and caring for all our villages and wider communities. The populations of our parishes are increasing, and it is an exciting time of growth; we live in a special place and appreciate this, and we know that we have the faith and strength to move forward together. We would like our new priest to be a warm and friendly person, who enjoys village life and being a part of the community; someone engaging and enthusiastic to lead us in mission; to help us to work together effectively and to develop a clear vision for our churches. We have talent and enthusiasm amongst our laity so our next priest will need to draw out their skills and use them in worship and for mission in the community. We would love to tell you more.
