This Sunday is Vocations Sunday, and to mark it the diocese has produced a new video asking what a vocation looks like.
The video has been put together by Derek Walmsley, our Director of Ordinands and Vocations, and looks to show that anyone, at any age or stage of their life, can be called by God to live out their faith in what they do.
The video includes priests from across the diocese, as well as congregation members from several parishes.
In the video Derek says: “All of us are called by God to come to him in Christ, to receive the forgiveness that he gives.
“We’re all called to members of Christ’s body, the Church.
“And we’re all called to serve him, wherever we are.”
