New blog will highlight daily life with disabilities

A new online space for people to share their experiences of daily life with disabilities has been launched on the diocesan website.

The new Disability Blog can be found here and is being run by Katherine-Alice Grasham, our Disability and Inclusion Officer.

“We’re hoping it will be a place for disabled people to share their stories, and for people to share thoughts and wisdom with each other about disability inclusion, theology, and what it's like to live with a disability day to day,” said Katherine, pictured.

“We’re so excited to be able to launch this new blog. It’s going to be a great way to highlight reflections and ideas, and will hopefully help everyone across the Diocese learn a little of what it’s like to be disabled, and how we can all be better advocates for each other.”

If you would like to write, film, draw, record a sound clip, or share your thoughts in another medium for us to feature on this blog, please send it through to katherine-alice.grasham@leeds.anglican.org
