New home learning hub launched by diocese

The Diocese of Leeds Education Team have launched a new hub to help parents with home schooling.
The Home Learning Support Hub can be found on the diocese’s Digital Learning Platform, and has a list of quality learning resources identified by members of the Education Team.
These include general resources from places such as the Oak National Academy, BBC Teach and Seneca, along with wellbeing resources as well as materials for specific subjects.
The page also has a section on collective worship, to help keep faith at home during this time.
Rupert Madeley, Schools Adviser, said: “As the Diocesan Education Team, we are very aware of the anxiety many parents feel about supporting their children’s home learning in lockdown.
“Schools have done a great job, but we decided it would be helpful for parents to have a hub that could signpost them to high quality content to supplement this, if required.
“The Hub is a single page that links to a range of free content across all school subjects and age ranges (from early years to A levels), from a wide variety of sources, as well as resources to support collective worship and prayer at home too.”
The Hub can be found here.
