New podcast, addressing end of life issues, launched by Leeds parish

The first episode of a new podcast series exploring end of life issues has been released by the Parish of Bardsey with East Keswick.

Called ‘Living Well, Ending Well’, the series is hosted by The Revd Angela Hannafin (pictured) and Dr Claire Dickson who talk to a variety of guests with the aim of helping listeners be more aware and proactive about what we can do to end life well.

Commenting on this new initiative, Angela, vicar of Bardsey with East Keswick, said, “Living Well, Ending Well is a podcast series, looking at the challenging area of end of life issues.

“The podcast came about as we had started a course on end of life issues in our parish, but ironically it was cut short by Covid-19 two years ago.

“As we’re coming out of lockdown, I wondered if we could rework our course, but do it as a podcast.

“There are many people who have fears and anxieties around death and dying, and we wanted to equip them to feel more confident about this difficult area.

“I asked a few collaborators who were more than happy to join in and we hope to post more podcast episodes soon.”
