Practical tips shared for making and using church videos well

How to present yourself well in front of camera and different ways in which Online Church is manifesting itself, was the focus of a webinar this week.

Organised by the Diocese of Leeds Communications Team, the session was lead by the Revd Canon Robin Gamble, the Bishop's Advisor for Church Growth, and the Revd Claire Corley, vicar at the parish of Wortley and Farnley (both pictured).

Producing video content has become an essential task for many churches, particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic, with clergy and congregation members taking to the camera to share prayers, worship and proclamation messages online.

Robin and Claire shared what they had learnt when it came to making videos, offering tips on how to make it look good and how videos could be used within a church context.

If you missed the session then a recording of it is available on demand. To access a copy please email richard.earnshaw@leeds.anglican.org
