Rector on 100-mile ramble in Ripon area

One of our priests in the Ripon area is going to cover a lot of ground, with a prayer pilgrimage during this year's Thy Kingdom Come.
The Revd Simon Moor, Rector of the Bedale Benefice, is planning to walk some 100 miles in five days as part of a ramble between every church in the Wensley Deanery, in order to raise money for the benefice and the Hambleton Food Bank.
He will be joined by others at different stages of his walk and sharing his journey on the benefice’s Facebook page.
Simon said: “I love to walk long distances- before I took up my current job I walked the boundary of the whole diocese, which is over 300 miles!
“I’m planning on visiting every church in our deanery, and offer a prayer at each one, as part of this year’s Thy Kingdom Come event.”
