A prayer app is enabling Christians across the Wakefield District to walk the streets and pray for the people who live there.
Developed by Vision Wakefield, the new Prayer-Walking App has enabled Christians to mark each street that they pray for as they walk.
The hope is that this visible sign will inspire and encourage others in the district to get involved, covering the area in prayer and partnering with God's vision for their areas.
Bishop of Wakefield, the Rt Revd Tony Robinson, said, "Between Palm Sunday and Pentecost we are inviting people to walk and pray every street in the Wakefield District.
"Christians from all denominations are involved."
People can sign up for the app at www.visionwakefield.co.uk/pray
