The diocesan retreat house, Parcevall Hall, has added two new retreats to this year’s already busy programme of events.
The two new retreats are Reach, which is a weekend for fitness and prayer, and Grace through Words, a weekend for those who love reading.
Reach looks to celebrate being active both physically and spiritually.
It will be led by Katherine Hogg, personal trainer and Christian activist, supported by Helen Reid, Parcevall Hall Director, and will include stretch and weights classes, time outdoors in the gardens and Dales, and time to reflect on life and faith.
Reach runs from Friday, October 25 to Sunday October 27.
Grace through Words is a weekend retreat based on reading and talking about books.
It will be led by Helen, who is an avid reader, and there will be time to read, reflect together on what has been read, and to recognise experiences of grace through words.
The retreat runs from Friday, November 22 to Sunday, November 24.
Of the new retreats, Helen said, “If you like the idea of these retreats but can’t make the dates, please do let us know.
“We can run these retreats or similar again, and would be very pleased to welcome you.”
