A holiday time service held beside stunning Semerwater in the heart of the Dales takes place for parishioners and visitors on Sunday, August 27.
Revd Dave Clarke of the Upper Wensleydale Benefice will lead the worship that always attracts a joyful crowd, whatever the weather, beneath the banner of “Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.”
'Beside the Lake' – is an open air service of celebration in the beautiful Raydale countryside and the music will be courtesy of Hawes Silver Band on the shore of Semerwater, the second largest natural lake in North Yorkshire after Malham Tarn.
Refreshments are available and the August Bank Holiday event starts at 3pm.
“Everyone is welcome and it's always a lovely occasion come rain or shine,” said Revd Dave.
