Interesting information about our diocesan link with Sudan is going to be shared at an evening event at Bradford Cathedral.
‘Sudan Evening: In Conversation’ will take place on Monday, July 11, and will be an opportunity for individuals and parishes to learn more about this diocesan link, and to hear first-hand about the situation in the country.
The Revd Ludia Shokai, the first Sudanese woman to be ordained in the Church of England, will be talking to the Revd Anne Russell, Team Rector of the Seacroft parish, about Sudan and our links to the country.
Revd Anne has just returned from a trip to Sudan, and will be sharing her experiences, and there will an opportunity to explore a possible further visit to Sudan in the autumn.
Revd Ludia has lived and worked in Leeds for some years, and now is commencing her curacy in Bradford.
The event will take place on Monday, July 11, starting at 7.30pm.
Refreshments will be available from 7pm.
